Our History
Purelec Energy are based in rural Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and specialise in the design, installation, and maintenance of Solar Photo Voltaic and battery storage systems. We cater for both the domestic and commercial sectors offering a turnkey service from design through to installation and ongoing support.
We became involved in the renewable industry at an early stage, seeing the potential for growth within this new market area. The renewable industry allows us to utilise our electrical experience, which has been developed over the last thirty years in business.
In 2014, we gained our Micro Generation Certification (MCS) and membership with the Home Insulation & Energy Systems Quality Assured Contractors Scheme (HIES). We have proudly retained annual membership to date and with both accreditations designed to maintain high standards and provide consumer protection, all of our customers can be sure each installation will be completed to the highest of standards.
By successfully achieving both accreditations and maintaining annual compliance, we are deemed a competent and trustworthy company advising end users about each of the technologies and service that we offer. It also allows you the peace of mind that you will be working alongside a company that has the skill set to deliver every time.
For the last nine years we have been successfully providing our expertise and services to our broad range of customers. We have worked on projects, which include large scale ground mounted solar arrays and industrial roof top systems, multi million pound mill conversions and school re wires and a wide range of domestic systems providing properties with bespoke solar and battery systems from household names such as GivEnergy.
Over the years we have been able to develop an extensive knowledge about the renewable industry and the UK market, allowing us to choose the most reliable products that will deliver on your investment.
We have grown organically, by offering the highest levels of customer service coupled with our carefully selected choice of products.
As we grow as a business it is important that all who work within the company share the same passion for what we do. It is also a priority that all employees have the necessary qualifications and training, which we provide on an ongoing basis.

A lot of what we do is face to face communication with our clients, so these attributes are especially important. When purchasing a renewable energy system, it’s important to know you can access support throughout the system’s lifetime. From our advisors and installers on site to the maintenance and after care teams, Purelec Energy are proud of our friendly staff and approachability.
You will always receive honest advice and we do our best to be as responsive to your requirements as possible. If we haven’t met your expectations, please tell us. We always want the opportunity to change your mind and to improve for the future.
Once up and running, we see the successful installation of your system as the beginning of our relationship, not the end.
At this stage we have advised you of the correct system to suit your needs, the great yields you may expect, and we are confident that your system will deliver for years to come. In the unlikely event that your solar PV or battery system does experience a problem, we will work hard to resolve this as quickly as possible.
A well designed system supported by a maintenance package will generate reliable, clean electricity for many years. It is very possible that your solar PV system will generate good yields of energy for more than thirty years!
It is rare for Solar Panels to encounter problems and when they do it can be difficult to identify. To make sure your solar PV system is working at its maximum potential, we recommend you fit a monitoring system. This will allow you and Purelec Energy to keep a close eye on the performance of your system remotely, troubleshooting issues quickly when required.
All our products come with healthy manufacturer warranties as standard, but they do vary from product to product. It is always advised that you read the terms of your warranty before the installation of your system to have confidence they meet with your requirements.
The majority of products offered by Purelec will be accompanied with a minimum of a 10 year Warranty for added peace of mind. for solar panels warranties tend to start at 12 years and the panels we offer also come with a 25 year linear power output warranty.

REGIONS WE COVER
Purelec Energy are located in the heart of West Yorkshire, positioned centrally with excellent transport links to the M62, M1, M606 and A1M motorways. We focus our efforts in the West Yorkshire area and surrounding counties, installing commercial and domestic solar PV systems for a wide variety of clientele, with the majority of our installs completed on farms and large commercial buildings.
We are happy to travel across the whole of the North of the UK, working as far north as Carlisle and down to Leicester. When required we can travel the length and breadth of the UK delivering our high quality of service every time!
By working extensively in our local regions, we have been able to develop good working relationships with local authorities and other third parties, allowing us to excel in all aspects of the services that we offer.
